The top, bottom and shelf panels are made of 1"thick three-layer MDF; Side panels made of ¾"thick three-layer MDF; The back panel is made of ½"thick three-layer MDF. All panels come with a tough white melamine resin surface coating. This shelving units is delivered partially assembled.
