This wall panel has ridges carved into it, so when the gear wheel turns, the little rubber balls bounce back and forth. The acrylic panel holds the balls in
the unit - so no loose parts! The Sensory Wall has a variety of elements that provide many different sensory experiences. They engage these senses - sight, touch, hearing - as well as a sense of physicality. After exploring and understanding, children start to describe their experiences. When children express their experiences in words, they develop good language skills. Base panel made of birch veneer with acrylic panel and rubber balls.
In addition to mounting w/Guide Rails: 120189 - 120191, Activity Panels can also be mounted directly to wall w/2 screws (mounting hardware not included).
